THE COMPANY

We are a private company specialized in the production of hydrocarbons, cement and renewable energy. In
these three business units, we have one thing in common: the search of long-term projects that create value
for all the parties involved -the communities of the place where the projects are located, our people, our
contractors, our clients and the State (municipal, provincial and national governments).
In all our projects we adopt adequate measures for the care of the environment and of the people involved.

“We are the second
oldest company in the oil industry”

 

We were born as a company engaged in the production of hydrocarbons. We are the second oldest company in the oil industry, and we are still developing this activity in the provinces of La Pampa and Mendoza. We are also present in Ecuador and Colombia.

“We are the main manufacturer of this product in the Patagonia region“

We began producing cement and today we are the main manufacturer of this product in the Patagonia region.

1990/1992

We started operating “El Sosneado” and “El Medanito”

We started operating “El Sosneado” and “El Medanito” oil areas, which we continue
operating today.

1999
“We entered the Ecuadorean market”

Through Petroriva, we entered the Ecuadorean market with a 40% share in ¨Palanda¨ and ¨Pindo¨ oil fields. In 2014, we purchased our partners’ shareholdings increasing our stake to 100%.

2008
We inaugurated our new cement factory in Pico Truncado

We inaugurated our new cement factory in Pico Truncado, Province of Santa Cruz, which is still one of the most modern plants in Argentina. Our efficiency makes us the largest cement exporter of the country.

“We developed the Renewables Division”
Leveraged on the Cement Division, we developed the Renewables Division with the Bicentenario Wind Farm (126 MW), close to Jaramillo, Province of Santa Cruz.

2020
We started operating “El Mataco and San Jorge”
We started operating our second wind power project -¨El Mataco and San Jorge¨ (203.4 MW)- located in Tornquist, Province of Buenos Aires. We currently have 329.4 MW in commercial operation, and we are the second largest wind power generator in Argentina.
